Feb. 8, 2014

On Feb. 8, 2014, our violin students participated and performed at The Samaritan Inn of Collin County For The Homeless Fundraising Gala.  The event took place from 5:00 – 9:00 at the Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center.  The organization’s top 600 donors attended the fundraising gala. The event raised money to shelter the homeless at The Samaritan Inn of Collin County.

Jan. 5, 2014

Music Starz Studios raised $1,800 for the 1000 homeless children at Captain Hope’s Kids and $200 for the orphans at Buckner International Orphan Care this Christmas at Grapevine Mills.

Music Starz Studios also raised $8,000 for the victims in the Philippines.
$4,000 was donated to World Vision.
$4,000 was donated to Compassion International.

Our guitar, violin and viola students of Music Starz Studios took another active role this holiday season to partake in the spirit of Giving and Sharing our gifts of music with others for a very good and noble cause.   Our music students volunteered their time to performing live Christmas music to collect money for orphans in the U.S. and around the world in collaboration with the Buckner International Orphan Care at www.buckner.org

Buckner International – Shoes For Orphan Souls teamed up with Grapevine Mills to host Music Starz Studios to raise money for this fundraising campaign to make a difference.

Our goal is $6,000.  We collected a total of $6,769.50.  We are proud to announce that proceeds were donated directly to Buckner International – Shoes For Orphan Souls.
