We offer multiple performing and state conference opportunities all-year round through Carrollton Music Teachers Association (CMTA) and the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA). These opportunities are:
- String Ensemble
- Dallas Arboretum Garden Concert series for pianists only
- Volunteer concerts at memory care and assisted living facilities
- CMTA Fall Festival in October for pianists only
- CMTA Rotation Festival in November for pianists only
- TMTA Virtual Festival in November
- Christmas at Grapevine Mills to raise money for orphans (before COVID-19 pandemic)
- CMTA Jazz Festival in February for pianists only
- CMTA Sonatina Festival in March for pianists only
- TMTA Virtual Festival in March
- CMTA Achievement Auditions in April for pianists only
- TMTA All-Star Festival at TMTA State Conference
- TMTA Conference Projects at TMTA State Conference
- TMTA Digital Keyboard Orchestra at TMTA State Conference
- The National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT) – National Piano Playing Auditions (NPPA)
- Lake Lewisville Symphony Internship Program
- American Protege Competition with concerts at Carnegie Hall
- National YoungArts Foundation Competition/U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts
Our piano and violin students also take part in these state events:

- TMTA State World of Music (WOM) Tests
- TMTA State Publication Essay Contest
- TMTA State Composition Contest
We nominate our students for the following awards:
- President’s Volunteer Service Award
- First Lady of Texas Volunteer Award
